“Made in NY” Productions Are ‘Inevitable’ in October

October 9, 2013 - This month new films and returning TV series with New York City as their backdrops premiere.

In director George Tillman, Jr.’s film The Inevitable Defeat of Mister and Pete, two boys must cope with being on their own after their mothers are apprehended. The film opens in limited release on October 11.

Kill Your Darlings, starring Daniel Radcliffe as Allen Ginsberg, traces the origins of the Beat movement. Directed by John Krokidas, the film recreated 1940s New York and opens October 16.

As “White Collar” begins its fifth season on USA, Neal Caffrey, played by Matt Bomer, must find out the truth after FBI agent Peter Burke’s arrest for murder. Episodes air Thursdays at 9pm, beginning October 17.

“The Carrie Diaries” returns for a second season which finds the young Carrie Bradshaw crossing paths for the first time with a young Samantha Jones. The CW series premieres Friday, October 25 at 8pm.
