June 3, 2013 - The Mayor’s Office of Media and Entertainment’s website now boasts a newly designed “Made in NY” Locations Library. Users have access to thousands of photos of different locations – ranging from City parks, buildings, bridges, beaches, intersections and City-operated buildings – to find the perfect spot in the five boroughs for their next project.

The photo library now features advanced search functions, allowing users to look for specific locations by category, borough and fee/no fee. The majority of the locations featured in the location library are available at no fee. Some buildings operated by the Department of Citywide Administrative Services (DCAS) do require a fee.

Within each location’s page, the user is provided with links to local community boards, the parks department or other relevant groups, along with other information and contacts. Additionally, pages throughout nyc.gov/film now include banner images from locations featured in the library. By clicking the banner, users are taken directly to the photo library.

New City-operated locations continue to be added to the library.
