Office of Film, Theatre and Broadcasting Introduces a Brand New Website

The new nyc.gov/film offers an easy-to-use navigation.

March 1, 2013 - The Office of Film, Theatre and Broadcasting now has a brand new website. Featuring a new design and easy-to-use navigation, all of the resources of the City’s one-stop shop for productions is just a click away at nyc.gov/film.

From step by step instructions for applying for permits to details about jobs and training programs in the industry, the newly designed website offers quick links and drop-down menus. Information about the expanded “Made in NY” Marketing Credit, how to apply for the “Made in NY” logo and interactive maps of studios and stages throughout the five boroughs are among the many new elements of the site.

The “Made in NY” Discount Card page also now features a new Facebook app, which allows users to find “Made in NY” vendors on a map and access their contact information and website.

There are also sections for residents, with Frequently Asked Questions, and fans, with links to learn more about the “Made in NY” Awards and more.
