'Once' Is Never Enough on Broadway This Month
February 1, 2012 - Broadway in February brings a revival of a classic American play, an one-man show and the theatrical adaptation of an Irish film.
Death of a Salesman, the seminal Arthur Miller play about one man’s pursuit of the American dream, returns to Broadway with an all-star cast that includes Phillip Seymour Hoffman, Andrew Garfield and Linda Emond. Previews begin at the Ethel Barrymore Theatre on February 13.
Shatner’s World: We Just Live in It tells the story of the life and out-of-this-world career of actor William Shatner. The solo show starts performences at the Music Box Theatre on February 13.
Once, a new musical based on the Academy Award-winning independent film of the same name, comes to the Bernard B. Jacobs Theatre, beginning February 28. Featuring music from the film’s soundtrack as well as folksongs, the show chronicles an eventful week in the life of an Irish singer-songwriter and a Czech pianist.
