Film Festivals Celebrate Snow and More This Month

November 1, 2011 - This November, local film festivals will explore wildly different worlds – from snow sports to South Asian cinema.

Big Apple Film Festival

Snow Film Fest NYC’s mission is to celebrate the diversity of the snow lifestyle by bringing varied perspectives of snow to a wide audience. The chashama Film Festival features work by international artists addressing social, political and cultural issues. African American Women in Cinema Film Festival

African Diaspora International Film Festival
Film lovers in NYC will be able to discover 63 films produced in 37 different countries as part of the 19th annual edition of the African Diaspora International Film Festival.
