Brooklyn Girl Film Festival Announces Call for Entries
November 1, 2011 - Brooklyn Girl Film Festival, a new event that will take place in Brooklyn in March 2012, has opened its call for entries. The festival seeks compelling features, shorts, documentaries, animation and music videos in which a woman filmmaker plays a key role. In order for a film to qualify, a woman must have served as a director, writer, producer, director of photography or lead animator on the film.
Brooklyn Girl Film Festival seeks to empower women and their unique and relevant interpretation of the world. Its goal is to strengthen the community of women filmmakers. The festival will showcase films from around the globe.
