Broadway Heads to the 'Mountaintop' in September

September 1, 2011 - A trio of plays will begin previews on Broadway in September.

Beginning September 9 for a limited run at the American Airlines Theatre, Frank Langella stars in Man and Boy, as a desperate man who reaches out to his estranged son in an effort to save his own business.

Relatively Speaking, a collection of three one-act comedies written by Woody Allen, Ethan Coen and Elaine May, will start previews at the Brooks Atkinson Theatre on September 20. The one-acts take a look at weddings, unruly families and death.

The Mountaintop imagines Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. on the eve of his assassination following the delivery of his "I've Been to the Mountaintop" speech. Samuel L. Jackson and Angela Basset star in this play with performances beginning September 22 at the Bernard B. Jacobs Theatre.
