Bus Shelters Take a Look at NYC History This Month
July 1, 2011 - TV shows that take an in-depth look at the City’s history are highlighted on bus shelters throughout the five boroughs as part of the “Made in NY” Marketing Credit.
“Mr. Mayor,” a new historical news and public affairs series, is currently showcased on local bus shelters throughout the City. Hosted by NBC New York newsman Gabe Pressman, the series looks back at the last eight mayors. “Mr. Mayor” airs Tuesdays at 10pm on NYC life (channel 25).
Bus shelters also feature the latest season of the “Secrets of New York.” The Emmy Award-winning series airs Tuesdays at 8:30pm on NYC life (channel 25) and explores the City's most enduring mysteries with host Kelly Choi.
The “Made in NY” Marketing Credit provides free co-branded advertising on City bus shelters to productions that shoot at least 75% of their work in New York City.
