| Film Festivals Examine Cultural and Social Issues in May May 2, 2011 - Upcoming film festivals happening in New York City this month will take a closer look at films from around the world. New York Indian Film Festival The 11th annual New York Indian Film Festival, presented by the Indo-American Arts Council, takes place May 4-8. Bosnian-Herzegovinian Film Festival Taking place May 13-14 at Tribeca Cinemas, the 8th annual Bosnian-Herzegovinian Film Festival features contemporary films that feature Bosnia and Herzegovina as their theme.
