"Made in NY" TV Wins at 2011 Golden Globes

January 18, 2011 - The 69th annual Golden Globe Awards, which took place on Sunday, January 16, included a handful of “Made in NY” TV productions among the winners. The awards, which recognize outstanding achievements in motion pictures and television, are chosen by the Hollywood Foreign Press Association.

HBOs Boardwalk Empire received two awards, including one for Best Television Series, Drama and another for its star Steve Buscemi.

Al Pacino won the Golden Globe for Best Performance by an Actor in a Mini-Series or Motion Picture Made for Television for his role of Dr. Jack Kevorkian in the HBO original TV movie You Don’t Know Jack.
