Film Festivals Showcase Dance and Diversity in January
January 3, 2011 - Cinematic festivals featuring the City’s rich diversity and culture will take place throughout January.
The New York Jewish Film Festival
New York Jewish Film Festival celebrates its twentieth anniversary as the preeminent showcase for world cinema exploring the Jewish experience. Running from January 12-27, this year’s selection of dramatic features and fascinating documentaries includes world, US and New York premieres. Dance On Camera Festival
The Dance On Camera Festival celebrates the immediacy, energy, and mystery of dance combined with the intimacy of film. Co-produced by The Film Society of Lincoln Center and Dance Films Association, the festival takes place from January 25 to February 11 with special events at Baryshnikov Arts Center, The Big Screen Project, Judson Memorial Church and Beacon School.
