July 8, 2010 - The latest “Made in NY” film to hit theatres is currently showcased on bus shelters around the City.

Disney’s The Sorcerer’s Apprentice, which shot on location in NYC last summer, opens on July 14 and is featured on bus shelters throughout the month as part of the “Made in NY” Marketing Credit. Inspired by the classic Mickey Mouse cartoon, Nicolas Cage plays a master magician living in modern-day Manhattan who recruits Jay Baruchel as his assistant.

The “Made in NY” Marketing Credit provides free advertising on city bus shelters to productions that shoot 75% of their work in New York City.
