June 2, 2010 - Bus shelters throughout the five boroughs currently feature a highly anticipated summer release.
Showcased on dozens of bus shelters beginning this month is The Sorcerer’s Apprentice. Opening July 16, the film tells the tale of Balthazar Blake (Nicolas Cage), a master sorcerer in modern-day Manhattan who hires a new recruit, the young Dave Stutler (Jay Baruchel). The two train and work together to defeat Blake’s arch-nemesis, Maxim Horvath (Alfred Molina).
The “Made in NY” Marketing Credit provides free advertising on city bus shelters to productions that shoot 75% of their work in New York City.
