Golden Globes Honor "Made in NY" Productions

February 10, 2010 - The 67th Annual Golden Globe Awards were handed out on January 17, and several “Made in NY” films and TV shows were among the winners.

Three “Made in NY” films took home acting trophies. Mo’Nique picked up an award for her performance in Precious: Based on the Novel Push by Sapphire. Meryl Streep won the Golden Globe for Best Actress in a Musical or Comedy for her turn as Julia Child in Julie & Julia. Robert Downey, Jr. won for his role as the great detective in Sherlock Holmes.

On the television side, NBC’s “30 Rock” saw its leading man Alec Baldwin win the Golden Globe for Best Performance by an Actor in a Comedy Series while CBS star Julianna Margulies won for her role on “The Good Wife.”
