Art in Changing Perspectives: BWAC’s Summer Pier Show
This summer, the Brooklyn Waterfront Artist’s Coalition has unlocked the 19th century iron gates of its historic Red Hook waterfront gallery to exhibit more than 800 new works in Art in Changing Perspectives.
This multimedia exhibition contains works from more than 220 artists and features four dynamic visual artists, Audrey Anastasi, Joseph Anastasi, David DiPasquale and Arden Suydam.

The Waterpod on Staten Island’s Waterfront
Atlantic Salt, Inc., in partnership with the Noble Maritime Collection and the Staten Island Chamber of Commerce, is hosting a maritime festival to celebrate the voyage of Henry Hudson. The Half Moon, a replica of Hudson’s ship, will offer tours and period activities. Cultural groups will offer crafts, free refreshments and children’s activities.
The Waterpod, a floating sculptural eco-habitat, will be open for tours from August 18 until August 31. Enjoy a Parade of Tugs at 3pm on August 31 to celebrate the close of The Waterpod ’s Staten Island docking. Free.
