February 2, 2009 - The Mayor’s Office of Film, Theatre and Broadcasting has recently developed a Location Coordinator Seminar for location coordinators/assistants looking to hone their skills.
In the seminar, location coordinators receive an overview from MOFTB staffers on making location requests, applying for permits, preparing Schedule “A”s, and requesting vehicle relocation. The seminar is designed to maximize location departments’ efficiency when using the services provided by MOFTB.
To attend the seminar, you must have recently been promoted to a location coordinator or assistant on a film, episodic television show, commercial, or music video, or have working knowledge of the locations department.
