New Federal Theater presenting Amiri Baraka’s The Toilet, exploring the emotional strife and volatile interactions of a gay youth and a gang of teens.

CityParks Theater also welcomes back two theatre companies after widely successful runs in prior seasons - the Classical Theater of Harlem presents the musical Ain’t Supposed to Die a Natural Death, authored by Melvin Van Peebles while Hip-Hop Theater Festival performs Rock Paper Scissors, written by Ben Snyder.
