'Twas the holiday season
and the Mayor's Office was filled with good cheer
because, for New York's production industry,
it had been a banner year.
The "Made in NY" program had been crafted with care
in hopes that more productions soon would be there
The incentives created such industry chatter
that producers came from around the world to see what was the matter.
Films and television shows and commercials, they came
and from the City's theatre industry they chose talent by name
The boom in the industry was so immense and quick
that we knew in a moment it must be a hit!
From the crossroads of the world, as 2006 draws near,
happy holidays to all, have another great year!
