December 5, 2007 - In recognition of serving as the fairy tale setting for the new Disney film Enchanted, a special screening was held at the Ziegfeld Theatre for the City of New York. Mayor Michael R. Bloomberg proclaimed November 19th “Enchanted Day” with a proclamation presented to Disney President and CEO Bob Iger.

On hand at the screening were the film’s stars Amy Adams and Patrick Dempsey. In Enchanted, an animated princess, played by Adams, magically finds herself thrust into the real world of Times Square. After meeting a divorce lawyer, played by Dempsey, and his young daughter, she begins to change her views on life and love.
