Broadway Returns, New Shows to Open

December 4, 2007
- Dancing detectives and French revolutionists have reason to sing: Performances have resumed for every Broadway show previously affected by the recent strike.

After the 19-day strike, Broadway shows returned to the stage on November 29. To celebrate this return, a free concert was held the following day at the Marquis Theatre with performances from all current Broadway shows.

A number of new shows that had their opening nights postponed have been rescheduled.

The Farnsworth Invention (Music Box Theatre): December 3

August: Osage County
(Imperial Theatre): December 4

The Seafarer (Booth Theatre): December 6

Is He Dead? (Lyceum Theatre): December 9

The Homecoming (Cort Theatre): December 16

The Little Mermaid (Lunt-Fontanne Theatre): January 10
