Broadway Abounds in November

November 2, 2009 - The Broadway season continues as new productions begin previews in November.

The holiday season comes early with Irving Berlin’s White Christmas. WWII army vets and song-and-dance duo follow a pair of attractive singing sisters to the Vermont Lodge. Previews begin on November 11 at the Marquis Theatre of this musical based on the beloved film.

David Mamet enlists the help of actors David Alan Grier, James Spader, Richard Thomas and Kerry Washington for his new play Race. Previews begin November 11 at the Ethel Barrymore Theatre.

Catherine Zeta-Jones and Angela Lansbury head the cast of the Sondheim and Wheeler revival, A Little Night Music. Previews begin November 24 at the Walter Kerr Theatre for this musical based on the Ingrid Bergman film Smiles of a Summer Night.
