Squid and Apprentice Trump City Shelters

November 1, 2005
- The Mayor’s Office of Film, Theatre and Broadcasting’s October marketing campaign promoted "The Apprentice" and The Squid and the Whale.

The Squid and the Whale was shot exclusively in New York City from July-August 2004, employing 50 New York City cast and crew members. The Brooklyn-based story focuses on two children coping with their parents’ divorce. Click here for more information.

Nominated for 7 Emmy awards, Donald Trump’s reality show "The Apprentice," as well as this season’s new The Apprentice: Martha Stewart is a “Made in NY” production. Click here for more information.

The co-branded bus shelter advertisements are part of the “Made in NY” incentive program’s marketing credit, which leverages the City’s assets to provide free advertising on bus shelters throughout the five boroughs to qualifying productions. Click here for more information.
