Stay in New York

October 31, 2003 The feature film "Stay" directed by Marc Forster recently concluded two weeks of work on the Brooklyn Bridge. The film stars Ewan McGregor, Naomi Watts, Ryan Gosling, Elizabeth Reaser, Kate Burton, Janeane Garafalo and B.D. Wong. The Bridge was a key element in the script for this film, and as a result of MOFTB efforts to coordinate these scenes, the production pledged to shoot all of its locations for principal photography on this $50 million film in New York City.

"In New York City, you call the shots," said Commissioner Oliver. "We are thrilled that "Stay" is staying in town." Other locations included the New York Aquarium, Conservatory Garden, Damrosch Park/Lincoln Center, the New York Public Library and Roosevelt Island. "Stay" will continue working in New York through mid-December.
