The Manchurian Candidate shoots in Sheep Meadow, Central Park
October 31, 2003 The Manchurian Candidate has been shooting around town since September, and will continue through December 2003. Directed by Jonathan Demme and starring Denzel Washington, Meryl Streep and Liev Schreiber, the film has been making liberal use of the City's endless location choices. Locations used so far include Compass Restaurant, Amtrak Sunnyside Yards, Penn Station, One Times Square, Bronx Botanical Gardens, Baruch College and John Jay College of Criminal Justice.
