Booths and Browsers at the 2006 New York Cine and Digital Equipment Show
October 1, 2006 - In 2005, the New York Cine and Digital Equipment Show in 2005 was created to connect industry professionals with some of New York’s top suppliers and help members of the City’s entertainment industry to keep up with the latest advancements in the field.
Now in its second year, veteran trade show producer Ed Clare has taken over the reigns of the NYCDES, which serves as a “one-stop destination” for New York’s production community, providing access to the newest equipment, software and film resources. Familiar names like Arri, Eastman Kodak, J.L. Fisher, and Panasonic all come together to showcase their current products as well as preview the production technology of the future.
Another group instrumental in the New York Cine and Digital Equipment Show is the American Society of Cinematographers, which will hold seminars and demonstrations on topics ranging from shooting with Super 16 to working on feature films. And this year Academy Award® Winner Garrett Brown will present his popular lecture, “The Moving Camera.”
The NYCDES will be held at the Metropolitan Pavilion, 125 W 18th Street, (between 6th & 7th Aves) on October 10th and 11th, and is free for qualified industry professionals and film students who register. Click here for more information and to view a detailed list of exhibitors.
