
October 1, 2005 - The Mayor’s Office of Film, Theatre and Broadcasting’s September marketing campaign promoted Carlitos Way: The Rise to Power, Little Manhattan, the New York Television Festival and Stay.
Carlitos Way: The Rise to Power shot in New York City in November-December 2004, employing 50 cast and crew members. The film stars Sean “Diddy” Combs and takes place in 1960’s Harlem.
Little Manhattan shot in New York City from May-August 2004, employing 100 cast and crew members. Starring Josh Hutcherson, Charlie Ray, Bradley Whitford and Cynthia Nixon, the film tells the story of a ten year old’s first love. Click here for more information.

Stay decided to “stay” in New York after the Mayor’s Office of Film, Theatre and Broadcasting coordinated two weeks of principal photography on the Brooklyn Bridge.
