The Green Production Guide offers resources for productions looking to mimize
their environmental footprint. Photo courtesy of the Green Production Guide.

September 1, 2010 - Productions looking to go green have a new resource to assist them. The Green Production Guide – www.greenproductionguide.com – was created by the Producers Guild of America Foundation and PGAGreen.org and lists over 1,100 vendors offering sustainable and energy saving products and services for film and television productions.

The interactive site offers easy-to-access information to help productions reduce their environmental footprint throughout the production process. Other resources, like a carbon calculator, are available on the site as well.

The Office of Film, Theatre and Broadcasting also lists various resources available to local productions shooting on location in the City. To learn more about NYC Green Screen, click here.
