The Winning Season, starring Sam Rockwell and Emma Roberts, centers on a washed up coach who’s given a second chance coaching the girls’ basketball team at his local high school. The film opens in New York on September 3.

Directed by Philip Seymour Hoffman, Jack Goes Boating will open in limited release in the City on September 17. The story follows four New Yorkers as their lives change for better and worse.

Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps, Oliver Stone’s modern-day follow-up to 1987’s Wall Street, will premiere September 24. Disgraced financier Gordon Gekko (Michael Douglas) crosses paths with an up-and-coming trader (Shia LaBeouf) who is engaged to his daughter (Carey Mulligan).

Starring James Franco as the young poet Allen Ginsberg, Howl depicts the life of Ginsberg as he creates his seminal work and the obscenity trial that followed.
