September 2, 2008 - The 2008 ACE Film Festival, presented by the New York Foundation for the Arts, returns for its second year continuing in its efforts to promote and preserve the “American cinematic experience.” With screenings of forty American-made independent features, ACE provides an exclusive forum for domestic film and video, magnifying the focus on this country’s creative voice.
Festival directors Tom O'Malley
and Luke Szczygielski, both only 24, worked together with colleagues, industry
associates, and fellow filmmakers to develop the eclectic and engaging program consisting of titles of varying lengths, genres, and categories.
The 2008 ACE Film
Festival program line-up includes four world premieres, ten east coast premieres
and twelve New York City premieres. The four-day event kicks off on September 4
in the main theatre of New World Stages. Visit www.acefest.com
