Film Fest and King Reign on Bus Shelters

September 1, 2005 – The Mayor’s Office of Film, Theatre and Broadcasting’s August bus shelter campaign promoted the film King of the Corner and the Central Park Film Festival.

King of the Corner shot in New York City and released here last month. The film, which stars Peter Riegert, Isabella Rossellini, Dominic Chianese and Rita Moreno, is a comedy about “life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.”

Last month’s Central Park Film Festival featured the New York City productions Almost Famous, Marathon Man, The Band Wagon, The Muppets Take Manhattan and the premiere of Little Manhattan.

The co-branded bus shelter advertisements are part of the “Made in NY” incentive program’s marketing credit, which leverages the City’s assets to provide free advertising on bus shelters throughout the five boroughs to qualifying productions. Click here for more information.
