September 1, 2004 - CBS has chosen New York City as the scene of its third CSI franchise!

CSI: NY filmed scenes in some of New York City’s most iconic locations early this summer, including Staten Island, Brooklyn Heights, DUMBO, the West Village, Central Park, Times Square, the Museum of Natural History and Bellevue Hospital.

“We are pleased that CSI: NY was able to make use of some of our most cinematic locations and neighborhoods, and hope to see the production back in New York City again soon,” Katherine Oliver, Commissioner of the Mayor’s Office of Film, Theatre and Broadcasting said.

Starring Gary Sinise, Eddie Cahill and Melina Kanakaredes, the show premieres on September 22, 2004 and will air on CBS each Wednesday at 10:00 pm.
