August 1, 2008 - Bus shelters have been working out well for local networks and distributors in July and August. VH1, Fox 5, and The Central Park Conservancy all participated in the "Made in NY" Marketing Credit Program and received bus shelters promoting "I Want to Work For Diddy," "The Wendy Williams Show," and the Central Park Film Festival.

"Diddy," which begins on August 4, covers multimedia mogul Shawn Combs’ search for his next assistant. The show, which will air on VH1, shot in New York City in the spring and summer of 2008. "The Wendy Williams Show" which sees the radio diva moving to a daytime format, began on July 14, and airs on Fox 5 at 10am.

The Central Park Film Festival, held by the Central Park Conservancy, will showcase films in the month of August that reflect the five boroughs. Those films include Working Girl on August 19, The French Connection on August 20, Strangers on a Train on August 21, Moonstruck on August 22, and August Rush on August 23.
