‘Nelson’ and ‘Night Listener’ on Summer Shelters

August 1, 2006
- The Mayor's Office of Film, Theatre and Broadcasting's July marketing campaign promoted Half Nelson, Night Listener and the Summer Play Festival on bus shelters across the City.

The “Made in NY” film Half Nelson stars Ryan Gosling and tells the story of a schoolteacher who faces a drug problem. It releases in theatres on August 11.

Night Listener, starring Robin Williams, Toni Collette and Sandra Oh, releases in theatres on August 4. The film tells the story of a radio show host's questions about a caller's identity.

And the Summer Play Festival presented the work of the City's emerging playwrights at Theatre Row from July 5- July 30.

The co-branded advertisements are a part of the "Made in NY" incentive program's marketing credit, which leverages the City's assets to provide free advertising on bus shelters throughout the five boroughs to qualifying productions. Click here for more information.
