August 1, 2005 – Feature film production remains on a fast track in NYC, thanks to the “Made in NY” incentive program signed into law by the Mayor in January. Productions about town include:
Fast Track, an FT, LLC production starring Zach Braff and Amanda Peet, about a man forced to work for his father-in-law when his highly-paid wife becomes pregnant and leaves her job
All Fall Down, an HD Net Films production starring Anthony LaPaglia and Isabella Rossellini, about a conflict between an activist and the architect of the building in which he lives
Diggers, a Deutsch/Open City/ HD Net Films production starring Paul Rudd, about friends who work as clam diggers
Hoax, a Yari Film Group production starring Richard Gere and Alfred Molina, about a man who sells a fake biography of Howard Hughes to a publishing house
Little Children, a New Line Pictures/ Avery Pix production starring Jennifer Connelly and Kate Winslet, about a sleepy town that incurs the chaos of affairs and a child molester who moves in
Margaret, a 20th Century Fox production starring Matt Damon, Anna Paquin and Mark Ruffalo, about a woman who witnesses a bus accident
