May 21, 2008 - On May 12, 2008, the Mayor's Office of Film, Theatre and Broadcasting held its annual "Made in NY" Awards, and NYC-TV's CityScoop was there to take in all the action. CityScoop is a weekly news magazine that provides summaries of recent news from elected officials and City government. The show aims to inform New Yorkers about the issues that directly impact their lives and communities - from key City initiatives and announcements to updates on cultural events - in a straightforward manner without editorial comment. CityScoop began airing on April 18, 2008.

On this clip from CityScoop, hosts Meena Dimian and Olivia Sterns discuss the extension of the "Made in NY" tax incentive from 15 to 35%, the move of ABC's "Ugly Betty" from Los Angeles to New York City, and the honorees for the 2008 "Made in NY" Awards. For more from CityScoop, click here!
