June 1, 2005 - From July 5-July 31, the second annual Summer Play Festival (SPF) will present a series of sixteen plays to help emerging playwrights showcase their productions. The festival will take place at Theatre Row, 410 West 42 Street, featuring four plays per week, each with multiple performances.
The festival was created by Broadway and off Broadway producer Arielle Tepper, who has produced shows including Monty Python’s Spamalot, and the upcoming The Pillowman.
“New York naturally draws the most talented, passionate and dedicated artists who are constantly bettering themselves, and I can’t think of a better place to present the Summer Play Festival for emerging artists,” Festival Creator Arielle Tepper said.
