May 1, 2009 - The 13th Annual Webby Awards have recognized NYC TV’s "City Scoop" as an official honoree in the category of online film and video. The Webby Awards is the leading international award honoring excellence on the Internet.

Of the nearly 10,000 entries submitted to the 13th Annual Webby Awards, fewer than 15% were distinguished as an Official Honoree, signifying an outstanding caliber of work. As a result of the superior quantity and quality of sites entered, the 13th Annual Webby Awards recognized sites and teams that demonstrated a standard of excellence.

"City Scoop," a weekly round-up of activities taking place around New York City, features a “Made in NY” segment every other week, focusing on the entertainment industry in New York City.
