May 1, 2006 - On April 26, Martha Stewart presented a "Made in NY" shirt to new New York Yankee Johnny Damon on her television show "Martha." Katherine Oliver, Commissioner of the Mayor's Office of Film, Theatre and Broadcasting, attended the show and brought “Made in NY” shirts for the entire studio audience.
The “Made in NY” logo is a mark of distinction which runs in the end credits of projects which do at least 75 percent of their production throughout the five boroughs. The campaign is designed to celebrate and take pride in production in New York City, the entertainment capital of the world. Click here for more information.
