Walk the Red Carpet at NYC's Biggest Daytime Television Events!

April 15, 2004  The New York City Mayor's Office of Film, Theatre & Broadcasting is sponsoring a nationwide contest in collaboration with the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences and the Daytime Emmy Awards, which makes its home in New York City each year.  The winner will enjoy an event-filled excursion to New York City with a guest!

WALK THE RED CARPET AT NYC'S BIGGEST DAYTIME TELEVISION EVENTS! TEST YOUR KNOWLEDGE OF NEW YORK'S DAYTIME TELEVISION DRAMAS BY CORRECTLY ANSWERING THE QUESTIONS BELOW:

1) What are the four daytime dramas currently taping in New York City?
2) Which New York-based soaps created by Agnes Nixon are still on the air?
3) Which year did Guiding Light debut on radio?

Please print on a blank, double-sided, 3" x 5" postcard and include the following information:
Your full name, address, daytime phone number and e-mail address, (including your e-mail address is optional) on one side of the postcard and on the opposite side the answer to each of the three Sweepstakes questions.

OFFICIAL RULES
1. TO ENTER. Anyone 18 years or older may enter. On a blank, double-sided 3" x 5" postcard please print and include the following information: The answer to each of the three Sweepstakes questions on one side of the blank postcard and on the opposite side of the postcard please print your full name, address, and a daytime phone number, and an e-mail address. Including your e-mail address is optional. Place the post card in an envelope and mail it to:

Mail-in registration is limited to one postmarked entry per person. Entries must be postmarked no later than 11:59 pm EST April 30, 2004. The Sweepstakes starts April 24, 2004 11 a.m. EST and ends on April 30th, 2004, 11:59PM EST. Only entries received during this period are eligible for prize selection. Entries postmarked prior to April 24, 2004 or postmarked after April 30th, 2004 will not be eligible for the drawing. The prize drawing will be held on May 2nd, 2004.
2. PRIZE AND ODDS OF WINNING One Prize: Approximate Retail Value $5,000.00. Actual value may vary based on various retail rates. Prize must be claimed on or before May 6, 2004 or the prize will be forfeited. Transportation to and from New York City is solely the responsibility of the winner. Hotel accommodations will be provided by Waldorf Astoria Hotel. Taxes, tips, laundry, room service, telephone, mini bar and food and beverage are the sole responsibility of winner. Prize is non-transferable. No substitutions or cash redemptions allowed by winner. In case of prize unavailability, Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value. Odds for winning the prize depend on the number of eligible entries received.
3. DRAWING AND AWARDING OF PRIZE. The winner will be determined in a random drawing from all eligible entries received.
4. ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS. Open only to residents of the 50 United States, Puerto Rico and the District of Columbia.
5. Void where prohibited or restricted by law. No purchase necessary. Employees of the City of New York, its advertising and promotion agencies and members of their immediate families (spouses, parents, children, and siblings and their spouses) are not eligible. All federal, state and local laws and regulations apply.
6. LIABILITY AND PUBLICITY RELEASE. Winner agrees that (except where prohibited) Sponsor may use winner's name, picture, portrait, likeness and voice for advertising and promotional purposes without further compensation. Sponsor, its promotional and advertising agencies, Primedia and all respective officers, directors, employees, representatives and agents shall have no liability and shall be held harmless by winner for any damage, loss or liability to person or property, due in whole or part, directly or indirectly, by reason of the acceptance, possession, use or misuse of prize or participation in this sweepstakes. Winner's guest(s) must sign and return a liability/publicity release prior to travel. Any and all claims, judgments and awards shall be limited to actual out-of-pocket costs incurred, including costs associated with entering this sweepstakes, but in no event attorney's fees. Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel, to terminate or suspend part or all of this sweepstakes should causes beyond the control of Sponsor corrupt or impair the administration, security, fairness or proper play of the sweepstakes. By entering, participant agrees to be bound by these Official Rules.
