April 17, 2008 - Tune in tonight to “30 Rock” as Mayor Michael Bloomberg makes a special guest appearance on the NBC show. The Mayor will play himself in a scene taped in the Blue Room at City Hall last month. In the scene, Mayor Bloomberg bestows an award to the ex-boyfriend of Tina Fey’s Liz Lemon, known as the Beeper King.
The Mayor’s Office of Film, Theatre and Broadcasting is proud that “30 Rock” is a “Made in NY” production. Last year, Tina Fey was honored by this office with a “Made in NY” Award for her contributions to the entertainment industry in New York City.
The episode airs tonight on NBC at 8:30 pm EST.
