April 1, 2008 -The Ghetto Film School is now accepting applicants for its 2008-2009 Fellows Program. Applicants should be between the ages of 14 and 21. The deadline to apply is Friday, April 18.

The filmmaker training program features three courses of study:

- an 8-week foundations course in the art of filmmaking; every Fellow makes their own short. July-Sept 2008

- a year-long weekly practicum on the business of filmmaking; every Fellow gets a real-world internship. Oct. 2008-Sept. 2009

- an advanced group project shot in an international location; every Fellow takes a lead role on the crew. June 2009
