March 4, 2009 - Mayor Michael R. Bloomberg, Speaker Christine C. Quinn, and U2 were on hand at the corner of Broadway and West 53rd Street as a portion of the street was renamed U2 Way. The temporary street sign was unveiled to coincide with the release of the band’s new album, “No Line on the Horizon,” and in honor of the band appearing on “Late Night with David Letterman” throughout the week.
