March 3, 2008 - Supermodel Christy Turlington shares the runway with New York City in a new commercial for Maybelline. Crisscrossing the city from DUMBO to the Upper West Side to the Brooklyn Bridge, the commercial, which shot in the city in early February, follows a day in life of the model and will be broadcast on the international market.
“New York was as much the star as Christy on this one, as almost everything we shot centered around New York locations,” said location manager Mike King.
A snow storm caused some necessary scrambling to reschedule exterior shooting days. “Peter Basich [at the Department of Transportation] and everyone at the Mayor’s Office helped us greatly with these last minute weather changes,” said King.
