You're Invited: Directing <i>Law & Order</i>

March 1, 2005 - The Mayor’s Office of Film, Theatre and Broadcasting and the Directors Guild of America (DGA) are hosting a free seminar, “Directing Law & Order.”

Filmed entirely in New York, Law & Order is the longest-running police series and second longest running drama series in the history of television. Directors of the original show and its spin-offs, “Criminal Intent” “Special Victims Unit” and “Trial By Jury,” will speak about the shooting styles of these shows differ and the special skills called upon in putting together episodic television in New York.

The seminar will take place on Thursday, March 10, 2005 at 6:30 pm at the DGA, 110 West 57 Street between 6th and 7th Avenues. Seating is limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis. RSVP to Katura Wilkins at the DGA, 212-258-0806.
