February 1, 2008 - The Raw Word, a series of screenplay readings, will host its next event on Thursday, February 7th at the Galapagos Art Space in Williamsburg, Brooklyn.

Three 10-page screenplay excerpts written by up-and-coming screenwriters will be performed live by actors in this IFP-sponsored event.

Feedback to the writers will be provided by guests Carly Hugo and Matt Parker of The Group Entertainment.

The event is free. Writers, actors, and people interested in the entertainment industry are invited. The Galapagos Art Space is located at 70 N. 6th Street between Wythe and Kent Avenues.
