February 10, 2010 - NYC Media is currently seeking submissions of narrative or documentary films that have been made in New York City for possible transmission on NYC life (Channel 25). NYC life explores arts, culture, entertainment, lifestyles, history and education in NYC and features the people and places that make the City unique.

In order to be considered, seventy-five percent of the film must have been shot within the five boroughs to qualify as a “Made in NY” film. Films about the City, its residents, its history, and its culture are welcome. New original content as well as previously aired content will be considered. No payment or licensing fee will be offered in exchange for broadcast.

Interested filmmakers should fill out this form that includes a description of the film and send it by email (submissions@media.nyc.gov) or fax (212-669-8448) for consideration. Submission of a film does not guarantee broadcast. To learn more about NYC Media, visit www.nyc.gov/media.
