January 12, 2009 - The NBC hit comedy “30 Rock” received top honors at the 66th Annual Golden Globe Awards on Sunday, January 11. Awarding the best in film and television, the Golden Globes are presented by the Hollywood Foreign Press Association. “30 Rock,” a “Made in NY” show, won every award for which it was nominated.
Creator, executive producer, writer, and star Tina Fey won for Best Performance by an Actress in a Television Series, Comedy or Musical while her co-star Alec Baldwin won for Best Performance by an Actor in a Television Series, Comedy or Musical. The series itself was honored with Best Television Series, Comedy or Musical.
“30 Rock” airs on NBC on Thursdays at 9:30pm EST.
