January 2, 2008 - The Staten Island Film Festival, presented by Richmond County Savings Foundation, has officially announced the dates for its third annual festival. The festival will take place June 5-8, 2008 and will accept submissions for feature length and short films beginning on January 4th.

Early Bird Deadline: January 4th
Final Deadline: January 24th

Conceived by the Staten Island Economic Development Corporation, the Staten Island Film Festival aims to foster an artistic atmosphere on Staten Island as part of a strategy to draw visitors from New York’s other four boroughs and New Jersey. As the festival grows, so does the community that supports it, in the form of sponsors, partners, staff, board members, volunteers, and attendees.
