MOFTB Introduces Online Permits with Interactive Training Sessions

January 28, 2007 - In the coming weeks, the New York City Mayor’s Office of Film, Theatre and Broadcasting will introduce a new, innovative way to file for film permits online – from anywhere!

This technology boasts a step by step, user friendly interface that allows customers to apply for film and television scouting, rigging and shooting permits electronically. Beginning in February, the MOFTB will conduct various training sessions in an effort to familiarize our customers with the new online permit format.

What: New York City Mayor’s Office of Film Theatre and Broadcasting Online Permit Training Session

Where: Apple Store, SoHo

When: Friday, February 8th, 6:30 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.

Who: Location managers, filmmakers, and others who apply for New York City filming permits

Why: Come learn how to use apply for a permit online and about the other exciting features the new system has to offer.
