Sex and the City

Sarah Jessica Parker shoots a scene of Sex and the City in Central Park.

HBO's hit series Sex and the City shot in New York City for six seasons from 1998-2004.

Series creator Darren Star also created The Street and Central Park West, which were shot in NYC.
Sara Jessica Parker began her career on Broadway. Her NYC film credits include The First Wives Club, If Lucy Fell and Rich Kids. She resides in Manhattan.
Kim Cattrall studied at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in NYC. She made her Broadway debut in 1986's Wild Honey and shot The Devil and Daniel Webster in NYC.
Kristin Davis shot the film Sour Grapes in NYC.
Cynthia Nixon has appeared in Broadway productions including The Women, Hurlyburly, Indiscretions, The Heidi Chronicles, The Real Thing and The Philadelphia Story. She also shot Little Manhattan, the short The Paper Mache Chase, Igby Goes Down, Advice from a Caterpillar, The Out-of-Towners and The Manhattan Project in NYC.
